What does it mean when there's an "offset" of badge IDs on combo cards?

Resolution: Depending on the customer's needs, they can request to have the encoded badge ID of the proximity card to be offset by a certain amount compared to the encoded badge ID of the smart card. The same can be said about the opposite by having the encoded smart card ID be offset by a certain amount compared to the encoded proximity ID.
