What does a blinking TROUBLE LED (D1/D2) mean on the PIB300?
1) Two blinks of the TROUBLE LED means that the AD300 on this channel is not communicating over the RS-485 line. Check wiring connections; verify correct device addressing using HHD/SUS.
2) Three blinks of the TROUBLE LED means that the AD300 on this channel has a Tamper Switch violation. Investigate the lock's Tamper Switch.
3) Five blinks of the TROUBLE LED means that the AD300 on this channel has used cache mode to allow access during a communication loss with the PIB300 or the Access Control Panel. Press the LINK button for this channel once to acknowledge the trouble and clear the blinking.
