What changes on the 6111 electric strike when being used with a 55 Rim device?

  1. See special template 91-937_E for 6111 x 55 application.
  2.  Special template was created because the 55 device is not listed compatible with the 6111 electric strike.
  3.  Strike lip is modified by milling off 1/16" to keep the latch bolt from binding to the strike lip because there is only 1/4" between the door face and the latch bolt.
  4.  It requires 5/16" between the door face and latch bolt per the standard 6111 template.
