What can cause the Engage App not to connect to the Engage devices via Bluetooth?

  • Be Patient but also be aware of the RF environment you are dealing with.
  • Hi volume of BLE, Bluetooth devices
    • Check with Light blue
  • Other types of in band interference
    • Generator, microwave….
  • Get closer to Device
  • Try to power cycle phone
  • Try another Mobile device 
  • Try another Lock device
  • Has the Device been reset (no longer commissioned but still in site)?
  • Try to refresh token in the Engage app (in the app under “my account” or “account”)
  • Make sure your cell phone's bluetooth is turned on
  • Make sure the phone is not connected to any other bluetooth devices like a smartwatch, headphones, etc.
