What can be connected to the “Downstream” ethernet terminal on IP Bridge?

Isonas IP-Bridge – What can be connected to the “Downstream” ethernet terminal?

          i.      The “Downstream” terminal of the IPBridge is intended for use to connect to up to 2 downstream IPBridge devices.
                 1.  This terminal does NOT pass PoE to downstream devices by default.  There is a jumper on the main board that can be moved across pins 2 and 3 that will enable PoE to pass through.
                  2.  Note: the POE power is shared by ALL IPBridges and, if connected, DC-powered devices via the DC+ terminals.  External power supply may be needed for locking hardware instead so as to not overdraw the PoE capacity.
