What are the dimensions of the Gen1 L9000 indicators?

As of March 2024, the Gen1 indicators were replaced by Gen2 indicators.

 

Gen1 The 180° style:

  • Sectional indicator trim are approximately 2-1/2" wide x 5-5/8" long.
  • Escutcheon indicator trim are approximately 2-1/2" wide by 9-1/2" long.
  • The dimension from the thumbturn prep to the bottom of the 180° sectional trim is approximately 1.0" 
  • Sectional indicator trim sits about 1/2" above the lever rose. This may vary slightly depending on the rose type (A, B or C)

The 09-611 indicator: Now called Chevron

  • Which is sometimes referred to as the birdhouse or birdcage indicator dimension is approximately 1-3/4" wide by 3-5/16" long.
  • The 09-611 is supplied standard with the L9486 and L9496 functions. 
  • Unlike the 180° indicators, the indicator sign sits between the cylinder and the lever.
