Von Duprin Chexit device keeps going into alarm by itself.

    Chexit devices shipped with motor after 8-24-2015.
    1. When Chexit device is set for more than zero second rearm time (factory setting is 10 second rearm time) and device goes into alarm immediately that is an indication of fire alarm activation. Make sure normally closed fire alarm contact is hooked between yellow and red wires of the twelve wire of the Chexit cable.
    2. When Chexit device goes into alarm after the rearm time, that is the indication of open contact from DPS or RX switch. Make sure DPS (door position switch) and RX contacts are closed, not open. DPS  switch connects between orange and red wires of the twelve wire of the Chexit cable.

    1.  When Chexit device  is set for more than zero second rearm time (factory setting is 10 second rearm time) and device goes into alarm immediately  that is an indication of fire alarm activation. Make sure normally closed fire alarm contact is hooked up between yellow and white or yellow and red wires of the ten wire of the Chexit cable.
     2. When Chexit device goes into alarm after the rearm time, that is the indication of  open contact from DPS or RX switch. Make sure DPS (door position switch) and RX contacts are closed, not open. DPS switch connects between orange and white or orange and red wires of the ten wire of the Chexit cable.
