The Von Duprin 98/9927 parts manual on page 8 looks like it shows the Rod Guides (112063) are included with the top/bottom rods? Are they?

No, the rod guides (p/n 112063) and rod guide screws (p/n 900919) are NOT included with the top/bottom rod assemblies.  The "line" indicating what is included with the vertical rods "looks" like the rod guides are included but they are NOT!  (98/9927 Parts Manual, pages 8-9).
