Issue: I press the Schlage Button and my bolt doesn't lock (extend). The Red X blinks.
Environment: Using the lock for the first time, or after taking the lock off of the door. The following locks are impacted:
Cause: Cam or Driver Bar is not aligned properly.
Resolution: follow this procedure to factory reset the product to complete the setup (opens in a new window)."
Note: For the Schlage Encode Family (BE489, BE499, FE798) the Schlage logo at the top of the keypad is not a functioning button as it has been on previous models.
