The lever on an LT Series lock rotates but the latch does not retract.

Cause: The spindle screw was not fully tightened and the spindle has pulled free of the lever hub.
Resolution: 
  • Remove the levers
  • Ensure that both the interior and exterior spindles are fully seated in the spring cages
  • Securely tighten the spindle screw
  • Re-install the levers
