The SNAP programmer is only fully compatible with Windows XP, and is not fully compatbile with Windows Vista or Windows 7
Vista/7 does not allow hardware devices (like the SNAP programmer) to use the USB port in the same manner as Windows XP.
The SNAP programmer is not fully tested with these two operating systems; however, both 7 and Vista appear to allow programming files to be generated to the SNAP.
Due to USB conflicts, the ability to enroll iButtons with SNAP is no longer available. To enroll iButtons, a CIP (Computer Interface Peripheral) must be used.
