When setting up the Schlage Sense Smart Deadbolt (BE479), be sure to choose the proper system during installation. If you are going to use an Apple device such as Apple TV (4th Generation), or Home Hub to connect to Apple HomeKit , choose the HomeKit option. All other users need to select "Use Schlage System."
You will also choose the Schlage System option if you are using an iPhone but plan to use the Schlage Sense WiFi Adapter for remote access.
