The Schlage SenseTM Smart Deadbolt is simple enough to install yourself in minutes with just a screwdriver. The lock is battery operated with no hardwiring needed, which means home power outages won’t affect your ability to use access codes or your backup key. Typical battery life with average use is about one year. The low battery indicator warns you weeks in advance that new batteries are required. And with the Schlage Home app, it’s easy to get started using the deadbolt with your smartphone right away. The app allows you to add, delete and set schedules for access codes, and even lock/unlock from anywhere.*
*iPad®, Apple TV® or Schlage Sense Wi-Fi Adapter (all sold separately) must be plugged into power at home, connected to Wi-Fi and in Bluetooth® range (about 40 feet) from the lock to enable remote access.
