Schlage RC and Pure Access Cloud - Not Connecting after Commissioning

Question:
I have commissioned a Schlage RC using Engage Mobile App, within the correct Engage site, and the device is not connecting to, or showing in, Pure Access Cloud

Answer:

  1. Verify device is commissioned to the correct site/tenant.
    1. If not: FDR device and delete from Zentra, or on Pure Access delete and sync with Engage.  Then commission to correct site/tenant.

       

  2. Power Cycle reader. 
    1. It might have an incomplete network connection; power cycling can correct this.

       

  3. Check Reader Settings.  Using Engage MAPP or Zentra MAPP, verify device has a good IP address and not an error IP of 255.255.255.255. 
    1. If possible: try setting the reader to Static IP with a valid local address.
  4. FDR device and delete from Zentra, or on Pure Access delete and sync with Engage. Then recommission to site/tenant.

     

  5. If another Schlage RC is available, replace it into this location and follow commissioning to see if populates.
    1. If another RC won't connect, it could be something blocking the traffic within the network.
  6. If possible, see if the RC will connect on a different network. Could be something blocking the traffic within the network.
