Deadbolt Installation: The deadbolt must be installed in the door edge with the bolt retracted.

Cam Alignment: The gray plastic cam on the interior mounting plate, through which the flat metal driver bar passes, must be pointed down. The cam features a triangle embossed on the end opposite the driver bar, which should align with a matching triangle on the orange plastic cover plate below.
