Removing Default Codes from Schlage Locks

All Schlage Residential Electronic and Smart Locks come with two default User Codes and a default Programming Code. These codes can be removed but can always be restored by performing a Factory Default Reset.

Find your lock model number and click the corresponding link to access instructions for deleting codes:

Important:

Pairing your lock to the Schlage Home App automatically deletes your default codes.
