Pure Access Cloud - Renaming a Schlage RC (RC11, RC15, RCK15)

When renaming Schlage-branded devices in Pure Access Cloud (PAC), the device name in PAC may not match what is seen as originally named when the devices were added via the Engage Mobile App. 

If renaming Schlage RC (SRC) devices in Pure Access Cloud, follow these steps to update the name shown for that device in Engage and the Schlage Mobile Access Ap

  1. In Pure Access, navigate to Access Points page.
  2. Click on the “three dots” icon for the device, then select “Edit Access Point”
  3. Input the new name in “Access Point Name", then click “SAVE”
  4. Click the green “+” button, then select “Sync Engage Devices”
  5. Connect to the device (showing with original name) with the Engage Mobile app
  6. Select “Device Settings” > Name will show updated on this screen.
  7. After disconnecting from the device, the new name will now show in the Devices list as well.
