On the the Schlage reader data sheet, for Current Requirement, it says at 12 VDC and 25 C. What is the 25 C in this context?

When the current is tested on a reader, it’s tested using a constant power supply (12VDC) at a constant temperature of 25C or 77F.  From these tests, you get the average and peak mA that was measured at the reader.
