On L9000, does the link pin position determine the thumbturn rotation to lock and unlock?

The link pin position on L9000 series locks affects the thumbturn rotational direction to lock and unlock.

There are three L9000 non-deadbolt functions where the thumbturn rotation differs from other non-deadbolt functions. These are L9040, L9044 and L9056.

The link pin position affects indicator timing. The L9040, L9044, L9056 and deadbolt functions all have the link pin in the top position on the locking link, whereas all other non-deadbolt functions have the link pin in the bottom position. Because of this, the timing of the indicator for the L9040, L9044 and L9056 and deadbolt functions are different from all other non-deadbolt function indicator timing.
