New Chexit alarms when arming

Note that connecting DPS, FA or INH to red (24vdc) is a troubleshooting step and not a permanent way to connect these inputs. If used, they should be connected through the door position switch, fire alarm and/or access control per Chexit manual.

Turn the Chexit device off.
Remove end cap and device cover plate so the Chexit PCB is visible.
Check for LED's lit up red:
If DPS is on, connect the orange wire to red (+24vdc)
If FA is on, connect the yellow wire to red.
If the only LED lit up red is Key, disconnect the REX switch from the PCB, and unplug the Blocking Device cable from both the PCB and the motor. - Reconnect them and make sure the connectors are firmly pressed in.
If the motor tries to retract but binds and releases, loosen all mounting screws holding the device to the door and try again. Hand tighten screws down until they are 'just snug.'

If the Chexit does not arm and the main LED only blinks once, connect the green wire to red.
