Programming Guides for Residential Schlage locks

Note: To program your lock, you will need your 6 digit programming code which is located in the backside of your lock. Go here to see how you get your programming code.

Here you find how to:

  • Adding / Deleting User Codes
  • Changing the Programming Code
  • Enable / Disable Vacation Mode:   When enabled, the User Codes will not unlock the door. This prevents any unauthorized attempts of entry when no one is home for a prolonged period of time.
  • Enable / Disable Beeper:  The beeper can be turned off if desired.  Beeps will still sound during programing. The beeps are not audible to everyone.
  • Delete ALL User Codes:  Removes ALL User Codes from the lock
  • Enable / Disable Turnlock (Lock & Leave) Feature (Keypad Deadbolt BE365 Only):  Enabled by default.  When enabled, the deadbolt can be locked from the outside by pressing the Schlage button and rotating the thumbturn.  When disabled, a User Code must be entered before rotating the thumbturn. Disabling this feature keeps an unauthorized person from locking the door from the outside.
