When using ADConnect Configuration Tool, the best way to test the connections is to use the "Test Pure Access" tab and click on the items within.
"Get Groups" is one of the simplest to test as it pulls in the list of all groups within Active Directory.
If gets an error or no data, check the "Configuration" tab, "Active Directory" section.
1) Ensure the Domain is correct.
2) Ensure the Username is correct. When possible, use Domain/User as the username, rather than [email protected].
a) Try one variation or the other, referring back to the "Test Pure Access" > "Get Groups" test.
3) Ensure the password is entered corrected for the user specified in 2.
