Is there a price deduct for ordering Schlage cylinders less keys?
LOCKED DOWN TO TECHNICAL SUPPORT
There are 4 scenarios for ordering Schlage cylinders less keys and the pricing changes in each scenario.
For Primus, the LKB option is still there in the configurator even though we removed all references to it in the PB. If LKB is specified for 0-bitted Primus cylinders, the customer gets a special discount applied to that line item. The discount varies based on the current price book in effect.
For any Master keyed cylinder, if no keys are desired, Schlage will deduct the appropriate extra cut key charge (such as the 50-215) x 2 for every master keyed cylinder not receiving keys.
For a FSIC ordered 1-bitted, if customer requests 0 keys, standard order entry manually deducts the price of 1 key blank.
For any standard keyed cylinder that does not fit into the above categories, if no keys are desired, the customer can request 0 keys but there will not be a corresponding price deduct.
