Is the finish covered on the V series if I have used a cleaning solution?

The V Series locks come with a limited 5 year finish warranty, against tarnishing and damage from corrosives such as but not limited to, salt, sun, humidity, and cleaning products as long as the original owner occupies the residence the lock was originally installed on.
