No, a new programming code is not required after completing a Factory Default Reset. When the reset is performed, the lock is restored to its factory settings. The default programming code, found on the programming sticker or in the User Guide, becomes active again.
Additionally, the User Codes for locking and unlocking will revert to their default values, such as User Code A and User Code B. You can locate these codes on the User Guide or the programming sticker attached to the lock.
