In Pure Access Cloud, is there a way to generate a notification when a device is offline?

You can configure a custom rule to send an email whenever a device disconnects by using the "IF An access point is disconnected" function.  Unfortunately, the custom rule cannot tell the difference between expected disconnect events that can occur daily and lengthier disconnects.  It will send an email for any disconnect.

Pure Access Cloud platform deployments and Cloudflare updates can result in brief disconnect / reconnect events.  These should be limited to around 15-30 seconds between the disconnect and reconnect events and should not require physical intervention such as power-cycling. At present, it is normal to see up to 3-5 such events a day.

Here is a link to the Custom Rules section of the Pure Access manual: https://manual.pureaccess.com/pure-access-manual/1/en/topic/custom-rules

Note that "functionality requires an active connection to the Pure Access software. If an ISONAS device is offline or disconnected, custom rules associated with this device will not be triggered".
