The tamper event can be cleared by sending a "Clear Tamper" to the device from the software portal***.
During the tamper event, the device will still approve valid credentials and will still complete compiles.
*The tamper alert will generate as long as the alert type has not been disabled in Alert settings and the device has an active connection to the server
**The beeper will sound during a tamper event as long as "Tamper Event" has not been disabled from "Beeper Sounds" for that device within the software portal
***In order to send the "Clear Tamper" command the device must have an active connection to the server
