Verify the battery connector is still intact in the battery tray. Note: It is important that all batteries are installed properly within the battery holder and the battery holder has the batteries facing the door. The battery wire connector will be connected on the top left side when the battery holder is installed properly. Poor battery quality or incorrect installation will cause intermittent power problems
If your lock is enrolled with a smart home hub, try un-enrolling then re-enroll the lock.
If problems persists after solutions 1-3, Factory Default reset the lock
Factory Default resetting the lock will DELETE all codes and restore the factory codes and local lock settings. *Ensure the factory default user codes are available. All user codes will be erased by the FDR process. The user codes can be found on the back of the inside assembly and the back page of the user guide.
Remove black battery cover (slide cover up).
Remove battery connector.
Press and hold the Schlage button on the keypad.
While holding the Schlage button, reattach power.
The green check on the keypad will flash three times and the inside Schlage button will flash three times.
The first time you enter an access code, the lock will go through the Setup process.
