How To Tighten FA series Knobs and Levers

How to tighten an FA series lock.

 

When you have an FA series lockset get loose you have to do a couple things.

  1. First you will have to remove the plate covering the screws.
  2. To remove the plate you will have to use either a paperclip or a flat head screwdriver.
  3. You will put this in the little hole on the shaft of the knob or lever.
  4. Then you will push down and in and then remove the lever.
  5. Once you remove this lever you will be able to take the cover plate off.
  6. Then you can unscrew the lock then reinstall it.

This will tighten the lock up for you.
