How to test the RX switch in a Chexit device.

Chexit devices shipped after 8-24-2015 with motor driven:

If the RX is plugged in properly and the wires are not damaged it can be tested by pushing in the push pad.

When the push pad is pressed, the REX red LED should light up.

If it never lights up, and the physical wires and connectors are undamaged, then the switch may be at fault and would need to be replaced by a qualified installer.  A second method to test would be to arm the device, then carefully remove the CXRX cable from its board connector. If the device goes in to alarm immediately, the CXRX is defective or out of adjustment. (by removing the cable, you are manually opening the RX switch which should trigger alarm and delay)

Note, the Chexit RX switch was updated in February 2025. The part number is still 116717-00. The instructions are document number 48277504.
