How to set-up the Schlage Sense Wi-Fi Adapter for iOS (BR400)

After you have downloaded the Schlage Home app and paired it with your lock using the Schlage mode setup, you can quickly and easily set up your Wi-Fi Adapter. The Wi-Fi Adapter is not compatible with HomeKit so if you've paired your lock with your phone using the HomeKit setup, you will need to complete a factory reset and re-pair your lock using the Schlage mode setup before completing the steps below. These steps are for setting your Wi-Fi Adapter up on iOS devices. If you're using an Android device, follow these instructions instead.
 

 
  1. Navigate to the menu in the Schlage Home app and click Wi-Fi Adapters.
  2. Click the "+" in the top right corner of the page.
  3. Locate the programming code on the Wi-Fi adapter.
  4. Scan the QR code 
  5. Plug in your Wi-Fi Adapter within 40 feet of your Schlage Sense Smart Deadbolt (BE479).
  6. Follow instructions on the screen to join the Wi-Fi Adapter's temporary network, then return to the app to finish the setup.
  7.  Now, following on-screen instructions in the Schlage Home app, join your home's Wi-Fi network.
  8. The app will automatically pair with your Schlage Sense Smart Deadbolt within range.
 

 
 
8. Congratulations! You have now paired your lock and Wi-Fi Adapter.
