How to remove a G series cylinder.
The Schlage G-series lock came with two types of conventional core cylinders. One was a non-removable cylinder and the other was a removable (demountable/interchangeable core) cylinder that looked similar to the non-removable core. This conventional "IC" core required a control key. Depending on the cylinder type, you may or may not be able to remove the cylinder.
