How to Pair Your Schlage Lock with Brilliant Smart Home Control

The Schlage Encode (BE489) and Schlage Connect (BE469) locks are both compatible with Brilliant Smart Home Control, allowing you to seamlessly integrate your smart lock into your home automation system.

To Pair Your Lock with Brilliant:

Before you begin, please set up your smart lock using the Schlage Home app (for Encode) or the SmartThings app (for Connect). 

  1. Tap "Add New Device" on the bottom tray of your Control homepage
  2. Tap Schlage Encode
    (Select SmartThings for Schlage Connect Locks)
  3. Follow the on screen instructions to connect your account to Brilliant
  4. Tap the Schlage lock you wish to add to the room and follow the remaining screen setup instructions
