How to order the Classic L section in a blank or cut key?
To order the L section for either blank keys or cut keys, specify the blank part number or cut key part number and specify L for the section.
- For Standard (non-Primus) keys, when the L section is specified, the key material is automatically changed from nickel silver to stainless steel, but there is no increase in price.
- For Primus keys, special part numbers are used for the LP section. These are stainless steel keys and there is an increase in price for the LP section keys. (Price increase due to the difficulty of cutting side bit milling into stainless steel.)
