How to Manually Program the Schlage Arrive

While we highly recommended you program the Schlage Arrive using the Schlage Home app, we understand if you prefer to operate the lock manually. The Schlage Arrive does allow you to manually program the lock without using the app. Please view the detailed steps below to manually program the Schlage Arrive. 

 


Reminder: Pairing the lock with the Schlage Home app will delete all default codes. If you wish to manually program the lock after it has been paired with the app, the lock must be restored to factory settings.


Manually Adding a Code to the Schlage Arrive

For help locating the 6-digit Programming Code, please click here.

  1. Enter the 6-digit Programming Code.
    The amber light will illuminate to indicate programming mode.
  2. Enter the 4-digit  User Code you would like to add.
  3. Press the Home button.
    The keypad will blink blue twice accompanied by two beeps.
  4. Enter the 4-digit User Code you are adding a second time.
    The keypad illuminates blue for two seconds, accompanied by a success beep (ba-da-beep), the light returns to amber.
     


    Note: If you would like to add more than one code, repeat steps 2-4 for each additional code you wish to add.


  5. Press the Home button to exit Programming Mode.
    The light stops illuminating accompanied by a single beep to indicate the lock has exited Programming Mode.

Manually Deleting a Code on the Schlage Arrive

  1. Enter the 6-digit Programming Code.
    The amber light will illuminate to indicate programming mode.
  2. Enter the 4-digit User Code you would like to delete.
  3. Press the Lock button.
    The keypad will blink blue twice accompanied by two beeps.
  4. Enter the 4-digit User Code you are deleting a second time.
    The keypad illuminates blue for two seconds, accompanied by a success beep (ba-da-beep), the light returns to amber.
     


    Note: If you would like to delete more than one code, repeat steps 2-4 for each additional code you wish to delete.


  5. Press the Home button to exit Programming Mode.
    The light stops illuminating accompanied by a single beep to indicate the lock has exited Programming Mode.

Manually Change the Programming Code on the Schlage Arrive

  1. Enter the 6-digit Programming Code.
    The amber light will illuminate to indicate Programming Mode.
  2. Enter the old Programming Code you would like to change.
    The keypad will blink blue twice, accompanied by two beeps.
  3. Enter the new Programming Code you'd like to add.
    The keypad will blink blue twice, accompanied by two beeps.
  4. Enter the same new Programming Code.
    The keypad illuminates blue for two seconds, accompanied by a success beep (ba-da-beep), the light returns to amber.
  5. Press the Home button to exit Programming Mode.
    The amber light turns off, accompanied by a beep to indicate the exit of Programming Mode.
