How to Exclude a Schlage Connect Lock from ADT

If your Schlage Connect lock is paired with ADT and you need to remove it, you must perform an exclusion process. The steps for exclusion may vary depending on the hub manufacturer.

Steps to Remove a Device from ADT:

  1. Open the ADT+ app or visit plus.adt.com.
  2. Go to the main menu and select Settings.
  3. Tap Devices and choose your Schlage Connect lock.
  4. Click Remove.
  5. Put your Schlage Lock in Exclusion Mode:
  • BE469ZP: Press and release the red button on the back of the lock.
  • BE469, BE469NX, BE469IR, BE469WK, BE468: Press the Schlage logo, enter the 6-digit programming code, then press 0.
  • FE599 and BE369 (Discontinued): Enter the 6-digit programming code, press the Schlage button, then press 0.
