How to Ensure REX is Enabled to Unlock Door
To ensure the request-to-exit input is enabled on a Pure Access Cloud or Zentra device so that it unlocks a door on trigger:
Go to “Access Points”
Find the Access Point to be enabled for REX, and then click on the three dots on the right:
Select “Edit Device Settings”
Ensure REX is set to “REX” and not “REX w/o Unlatch”
Click “Next” and skip through all other settings and then hit “SAVE”
Test REX input by:
RC04: Shorting Brown and Green wires
Schlage RC: Shorting Black and Green wires
IPBridge: Jumping REX to GND
