How to add your Schlage Connect Zigbee lock (BE468GB) to a smart home system

First, refer to the documentation that came with your smart home system hub or controller. You may have to complete some steps before adding your Schlage Connect lock to your smart home system.

You need a Security Enabled Zigbee controller or Amazon Key controller to utilize all of remote capabilities of your Schlage Connect Zigbee lock.

BE468GB indicates that your Schlage Connect uses Zigbee to communicate. You can also check the color of the circuit board on your lock. A Blue circuit board indicates you have a Zigbee lock. A green circuit board is a Z-wave enabled lock. You can find Z-wave smart home hub instructions here.

Once your smart home hub is in “Add” mode, press the button on the lock as shown below. If required, scan or enter the install code to the smart home app whenever it is requested.

A yellow light will flash, then turn green when your lock has been successfully added.

A red light indicates there was a problem adding your lock. Try repeating the steps again.
