When connecting the MT20 to a computer’s USB port for the very first time, the device drivers will be installed automatically. No extra files will be needed. Once complete, the MT20 will be listed as an “HID Keyboard Device” under the computer’s Device Manager.
2. CONNECTING EVERY TIME THEREAFTER
When connecting the MT20 to a computer’s USB port, it will give a quick green LED flash and then four (1, 3) audible beeps along with a red LED flash.
3. USING A CONFIGURATION CARD WITHOUT KEYS
Just like the Schlage reader, the MT20 requires a power cycle in order for a configuration card to be used. After the MT20 has been power cycled, present the configuration card within 60 seconds. When the MT20 accepts the configuration card, it will give an initial 2 beeps ending with a green LED flash, pause, and then 4 beeps along with a red LED flash.
4. USING A CONFIGURATION CARD WITH KEYS
After the MT20 has been power cycled, present the configuration card with keys within 60 seconds. When the MT20 accepts the configuration card, it will give 3 beeps ending with a green LED flash, pause, and then 4 beeps along with a red LED flash.
