How the 900-FA board functions with the PS914-4RL?

The 900-FA board is used to disrupt output power of the board upon which it is mounted.

The 900-FA board uses a Normally Closed Dry Contact, normally from the Fire Alarm System.
When that contact opens, such as during a fire alarm condition, the 900-FA board disrupts the power output of the board it is connected to.

The 900-FA can be mounted to the main board of a PS902, and would disrupt power output of the main board's DC Output and any Input/Output Option Board connected to the main board.
The 900-FA board cannot be mounted to the main board of the PS904, PS906, nor PS914.
In most cases, the 900-FA board is mounted onto one of the 900 Series Input/Output Option Boards (900-2RS, 900-4R, 900-4RL, 900-8F, or 900-8P) and would only affect the Option Board it is mounted to.
If there are multiple Input/Output Option Boards in the power supply, you would need a 900-FA board for each Option Board you want to disrupt.
