How should an EL PWM be wired if the plugs were cut off?

If the plugs on an EL Pulse Width Module (PWM) or the older EL Potted Circuit Breaker (PCB) were cut off, the wires could be stripped and spliced or wire nutted together.
The wires on the module are short, therefore doing this could make maneuvering the module into position difficult.
This would make disconnecting the wires difficult for maintenance or replacement purposes.

  • The green, orange, and yellow wires on the EL PWM or EL PCB should match up with the same colors on an EL Solenoid.
  • The other two wires on the module (black and white on a PWM or two black wires on PCB) are for the incoming power and are not polarized.
Therefore either of these wires can be connected to the + 24VDC.
