How is the control bitting pinned in Schlage's Corbin LFIC core?

  • The control key will be pinned into chambers 2 and 3 for Schlage's Corbin LFIC core.
  • The A2 combinating rule (rule of 23) will be applied only to chambers 2 and 3 of Schlage's Corbin LFIC core. For this, Schlage will use (10) new master pins (10-19) when pinning the control key into the core.
  • The control cuts in chambers 2 and 3 must be removed from the Key Bitting Array (KBA) and not utilized on any operating key - change or master.
  • 0-cuts cannot be used in the LFIC chambers of the control bitting.
