How is the ALX172 installed onto a door?
The ALX172/ND172 is not built from two sets of ALX170/ND170's.
The ALX172/ND172 uses Chassis and Mounting Screws unique to the function to be able to mount the two Levers and Chassis back to back. ALX172 shown below:
