How is the 8310-877 wired to the 4600 (4630 4640) operator?

The 8310-877 comes with a 6 wire cable. You have to cut the connectors off both ends and hardwire it to the 4600 operator as follows:

The 6 wire cable connections to the 7 pin connector in the 8310-877 Bodyguard sensor are:

  • White to Terminal 1
  • Black to Terminal 2
  • Brown to Terminal 3
  • Blue to Terminal 4
  • No connection to Terminal 5
  • Green to Terminal 6
  • Red to Terminal 7

The 6 wire cable connections to the 4600 operator are:

  • Black to Terminal 1
  • White/Brown/Green to Terminal 2
  • Blue to Terminal 20
  • Red to Terminal 11
  • Jumper wire from terminal 3 to 10
  • Jumper wire from terminal 20 to 21

The MC15 moduleĀ is not required. The 4600 does not have the ability to wire into that module.
