How is the 4582 strike handed?
The 4582 is handed because the latch pocket is not centered on strike plate. the 4582 can not be rehanded in the field.
The 4582 can be used with a Von Duprin 7500 Mortise Lock as long as the strike is ordered with the T1 Tripper and in the opposite handing of the door (see image below) since the Auxiliary Bolt is located below the Main Latchbolt..
