When common wiring diagrams do not meet the needs of the job requirements, Allegion offers a service to purchase custom wiring diagrams.  All custom wiring diagrams include a point-to-point drawing, a riser diagram, and a detailed theory of operation.  Custom wiring diagrams fall into two categories; Standard and Complex.

 

Standard drawings: All Allegion products with a single opening and a basic theory of operation.  These drawings will be quoted a NET $300 for each drawing

Complex drawings:  Generic contacts, 3rd party components, complex relay logic, timer circuit logic, any other additional advanced logic.  Drawings that fall under this type will  receive a NET quote depending on the time required to complete the drawings at an hourly rate of $300/hour with a $300 minimum NET

 

How to Request a Quote for a Custom Wiring Diagram

 

• Custom wiring diagrams can only be ordered by and shipped to current Allegion Channel Partners
• Wiring Diagram Request Forms can be obtained by:
  • Sending an email request to [email protected]
  • Using the online Distributor Portal under; My Support / Orders & Invoicing
  • Looking in the LCN, Schlage Electronics, and Von Duprin Price Books
  • Utilizing the form at the end of this bulletin
• Once completed, email the completed request form to [email protected] for processing
  • Be sure and include the following information to prevent delays to the request:
  • All supporting documentation for non-Allegion products
  • Hardware list with complete part numbers
  • Detailed Theory of operation for all openings
• Upon receipt the custom wiring coordinator will review and clarify the request as needed
• Once all clarifications are resolved a QUOTE#, NET pricing, and lead time will be assigned and communicated to the requestor within 1 business day
• QUOTE# is valid for 90 days
• A purchase order with the QUOTE# must be received for the wiring diagrams to be produced
  • Send the completed PO to [email protected]
• Lead time is generally 2-3 weeks from time PO is received, more complex requests will have longer lead times
• Changes to the original request after a quote approval may incur additional charges and affect lead time
• Completed custom wiring diagrams will be emailed to the requester
