How does the LX switch operate with cable devices 9849 / 9949 / 3349 / 3549?

#1. The LX switch monitors the trim input. In other words, the LX switch will change states (open or close) momentarily when the lever is stroked.

#2. The LX switch will monitor the latches when the device is mechanically or electrically dogged because the switch changes and maintains that state until the device is un-dogged.

#3. The LX switch does NOT monitor the latch condition because the latch changes states momentarily while the push bar is depressed, but the switch returns to the original state when the push bar is released or extended. When this happens, the top and bottom latches are still in the unlatched condition even though the switch indicates otherwise.
