How does First Person In work with Schlage devices in Pure Access Cloud tenants?

The First Person In feature is used in combination with Auto Unlock weekly rules and Scheduled Unlock events. If the First Person In feature is enabled for an access point, when an associated auto unlock rule's start time is reached, the access point will remain locked until a user with grant access permissions at that access point presents their credential and is approved.  The access point will then remain unlocked until the auto unlock rule's end time.

To enable First Person In for an access point

- Navigate to the Access Point menu in Pure Access Cloud

- Click on the three vertical dots under the "Action" column for the desired access point

- Click Edit Device Settings

- Click the slider to the left of "First Person In" ensuring that it moves to the right and changes to green.

- Click SKIP TEST

- Click SAVE

Note:
When First Person In is enabled, that access point will require the presentation of a valid credential before the door will unlock for ALL Auto Unlock rules or events it is assigned.
