The holdback feature is applied as follows:
With the L9076 or L9077 in the locked position, the inside lever or knob is rotated until the latchbolt is fully retracted. The key from either side is then rotated 360 degrees to the "unlocked" position. Upon release of the lever or knob, the latchbolt and auxiliary latchbolt remains in the retracted position.
To deactivate:
Rotate the key in either side 360 degrees back to the "lock" position. The latchbolt assemblies will return to their extended positions.
