How do you wire an 8310-865 receiver to a 2800/9500 Series Operator?

The 8310-865 RF Receiver is shipped with a 4 wire cable (Red, Black, White, Green).

The LCN 2800/9500 Series operator comes with 2 Activation Cable connections (Cable 761464 – P6/P7 cable) – This cable can be wired directly into the receiver terminal block as shown in the 8310-865 instructions, see here.

  • P6/P7 White connects to 865 12V-24V
  • P6/P7 Black connects to 865 AC/DC
  • P6/P7 Gray connects to 865 COM
  • P6/P7 Yellow connects to 865 NO

You can also wire the P6/P7 cable to the wires included in the receiver, but this will give you approx. 7’ total of wire.  The connections would be as follows:

  • P6/P7 White connects to 865 Red
  • P6/P7 Black connects to 865 Black
  • P6/P7 Gray connects to 865 White
  • P6/P7 Yellow connects to 865 Green
